Tao A8I ("we") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable federal and state laws. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and share your information.

To provide you with efficient and personalized AI services, we may collect the following types of information:

Personally Identifiable Information (PII): When you register an account, subscribe to a service, or contact support, we collect your name, email, billing address, phone number, and payment information (securely processed by third-party processors like Stripe).
Technical Data & Usage Records: We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device info, OS, access times, and clickstream data.
User Generated Content (User Content): Text prompts you input into Tao A8I, uploaded files, and generated AI responses.
Cookies & Tracking: We use Cookies, Web Beacons, and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze traffic, and provide personalized content. You can manage Cookie preferences in your browser settings.

2. Data Usage

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Provide, maintain, and improve our AI models and service features.
Process your orders, manage subscriptions, and send transaction notifications.
Personalize your user experience and recommend relevant features or content.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security breaches.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

                        Note on AI Training: We may use de-identified and aggregated user data to
                        improve Tao A8I's foundation models. Other than that, we will not sell your
                        private data to third parties for advertising purposes. Enterprise users can opt-out of the data
                        training program.
                    

3. Information Sharing

We only share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: Sharing necessary information with third parties assisting our operations (e.g., cloud hosting AWS/Google Cloud, payment processors, support tools).
Legal Requirements: Responding to legal processes, court orders, or government requests, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
Business Transfers: During mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.

4. Your Rights (U.S. Specific)

Under CCPA and other applicable laws, you have the following rights:

Right to Know: Request to know what personal data we have collected about you.
Right to Access & Portability: Obtain a copy of your data.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of your account and related data.

Welcome to Tao A8I. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tao A8I website, API, and related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for all activities under that account. Sharing account credentials is strictly prohibited.

2. Use of Service & Restrictions

Tao A8I grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use. You agree not to:

Use the service to generate illegal, defamatory, pornographic, violent, or hate speech content.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
Use automated scripts or bots to scrape service data.
Develop foundation models or machine learning algorithms that compete with Tao A8I.
Violate any applicable U.S. export control laws.

3. Intellectual Property (IP & DMCA)

3.1 Content Ownership

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you own the content you input and the output generated by Tao A8I. You grant Tao A8I a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, and use your content to provide the service.

3.2 DMCA Copyright Notice

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe our service infringes your copyright, please send a detailed notice to legal@tao8s.com.

4. Billing & Subscription

Tao A8I offers free and paid subscription services (Pro, Enterprise).

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew monthly or annually unless canceled before the current period ends.
Refund Policy: Paid subscriptions are digital goods and are generally non-refundable unless required by law. After the new user 3-month free trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Tao A8I expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated content may contain errors or false information; please verify independently.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tao A8I and its affiliates, officers, employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data loss). Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S., without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if that fails, it shall be submitted to a competent court in San Francisco County, California.
